The Lemon Hotel, recently brought back to its original splendor, is the perfect escape to a bygone era with all the luxuries of today. The hotel is adjacent to the Depot Lodge which the owners have operated for over 20 years. Nestled in the secluded town of Paint Bank , Virginia in the southern Alleghany Mountains the hotel has six unique and inviting bedrooms and suites. Each room or suite is exquisitely decorated with curated antiques and collectibles and has a different theme to reflect various fruits grown on the property. All enjoy a private bath along with many other amenities.

The hotel's six rooms and suites are enhanced with unique artwork representing the fruit-theme of the accommodation. Each is individually appointed with unique antiques and fine collectables. Check out our newest venue, The Lemon Slice, a cozy cottage perfect for a pampered get-away, with all the essential amenities. In the meeting room you will find a refreshment bar stocked with fine coffees, teas and assorted cookies. There is also a small fridge with various cold beverages. Guests have access to free wi-fi, a charging station, luxurious robe and slippers, a hairdryer and Beekman 1802 bath products.

The hotel lobby welcomes you with a grand carved staircase and a stunning stained-glass skylight above the stairway landing. There’s a cozy parlor with a fireplace for you to rest and unwind from your travels. The elegant dining room is set for tomorrow’s complimentary gourmet breakfast.
You’ll have the opportunity to relax in the rocking chairs on the front porch and take in the bucolic view of the valley, roast marshmallows in the evenings at the fire pit or order cocktails to enjoy in the Adirondack chairs on the patio along the banks of Potts Creek.
Stroll by the orchard and large vegetable garden on your way to visiting the “Chick Inn” coop all of which provide many of the delicious ingredients for our farm to table cuisine.
